| As the owner of this site, and as a persons that has moved a lot, here are some things i have learned from the Moving Business: (Moving Tips) | ||
| 1. Dont go with a moving company that only give you estimated over the phone or email or in house quote. If you are looking for a flate price on your move then make sure you get a biding moving quote because if you just a moving estimated then there is no geranteed that on your moving date the price stated to you be the moving company will be the same on your move. Many moving companies will give you estitment because a estimeit is just a ball park figure which means it will change on your moving date. So moving companies just bid or estimate very low to win your business. However on your moving date, the movers will change the price KNOWING THAT YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICES. MAKE SURE YOUR MOVING ESTIMATE SAY 'binding' ON IT or the price may change on your moving date | ||
| 2. If you are in a small apartment or if you only have a few items or furnature to move then you need to get a flate moving price or Binding price. This why you know upfront how much it will cost to move your items. Besides, from my exprices i feel if you have few itesm the the bind quote is the best and cheapest way to move in Dallas Texas!. | ||

you have many items to move, or you have mulitpy stops, then i suject to go
hourly. this way you will not get rip off on your moving date with a fate
price. Why do i say NOT TO USE BIND/FLATE QUOTE FOR HOUSE MOVES. if
you do NOT HAVE DETAIL INVENTORY FURNATURE TO MOVE, THEN THE QUOTE WILL NOT
ME ACCURY AND ON YOUR MOVING DATE THE PRICE WILL INCREASE DRMATICLY IF YOU
HAVE MANY ITEMS THAT ARE NOT LISTED ON THE MOVERS items-moving-list.
For example, if you get a moving qutoe to moving from dallas to Irving
for a 4 bedroom house, and the moves give you a bind quote for $300 for 50
items/furntare to move. However on the day of the move, when the movers show
up, and to a check of the inventor on there list, and they notice that you
have 80 items to move, and the quote is only for 50 items. Now the moving
company will charge extra high price for the addistion 30 furntace to move
to equeal 80 items. Now the price to move 80 items is $700 dollors and
the price to move 50 items is $300. as you can see for just 30 exta
items to move the price more then doubled. In resutl it is better to go with
a hourly rate or moving plan when you are moving out of house. Why to ask the moving company when they are going to moving you hourly?
